Interior design styles | What design suits you? (Part 2)

Previously, we discussed briefly about minimalist, Scandinavian and Hamptons style. Today, let’s look at three other distinct styles.

1. Industrial

Fancy a Starbucks at home? Consider Industrial! Careful use of open spaces, natural light coupled with strategic use of red brick walls, exposed pipes and rustic furniture with black accents are key. Industrial styles typically feature a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere suitable for any home or office.

2. Farmhouse
Many of us envisage a slow life in the countryside, in a cute cottage on a large farmland. We can replicate the look and feel in our homes by a simple color palette for the walls, wood and mix-matched vintage décor. The clean, inviting atmosphere and rustic country charm is sure to impress any visitor.

3. Japandi
A style that is gaining popularity in HORECA and homes, Japandi is a style blending Japanese and Scandinavian influences that bring about elegance, functionality and comfort. You will be amazed at how Japanese and Nordic colours, furniture and decors can work extremely well together.
